Constantia Villas/House Rentals
Oak lined avenues and breathtaking mountain views mark this fertile valley, one of the oldest suburbs of the Cape. Originally chosen by the first governor of the Cape as the perfect domain for producing wine, Constantia has grown over the years into a sough after and exclusive semi-rural enclave nestled between the back slopes of Table Mountain and the Constantiaberg Mountain range.

Children ride their horses along the many bridle paths and runners, hikers and dog walkers enjoy the more than 15 km of scenic walks through the large tracts of green belt running all the way through the neighbourhood. Some of the oldest and most Gracious homes of the Cape are situated here and set in large, well established garden with tennis courts and swimming pools. The Constantia wine estates which were established during the 17th and 18th centuries have been lovingly restored and maintained and are still producing internationally acclaimed wines.

There is an excellent shopping complex, wonderful restaurants (many of exceptional quality affiliated to the wine estates), a sports centre with an international gym and tennis courts and regular craft markets in the parks of the area. Constantia is only 20 minutes drive from the Cape Town city centre.

Steenberg Golf Estate, unique in being at once a golf estate, a winery and a hotel, nestles in the southern part of this tranquil valley against the slopes of the Steenberg mountain. The 18 hole championship course winds it’s way through vineyards and gentle waterways, providing a challenge for golfers of all levels.

Steenberg is an exclusive course set in the Constantiaberg winelands outside Cape Town. Designed by Peter Matkovich, this course winds it’s way through vineyards and gentle waterways, providing a challenge for golfers of all levels.

Steenberg Estate is a haven of security with a luxury hotel located in the original Manor House. The original winery provides the setting for a world class restaurant and European decor incorporates all the historic architectural features of the old winery. Steenberg is an ideal starting point for day excursions to some of the Cape's other attractions being 20 minutes from central Cape Town and a short drive to the beautiful beaches of False Bay.

Vanilla House is desirably situated on the 18th hole and offers the ultimate in luxury holiday living. Each en suite room is tastefully furnished with classic modern pieces and all rooms overlook the golf course or open onto private patios or the magnificent pool terrace.

Conjure up culinary delights in the gourmet kitchen or stroll over to the "19th hole" for sundowners followed by dinner at the club or restaurant.
