Day 1: Cape Town

On arrival at Cape Town International Airport, you will be met by our Representative who will hand over your Personalised Travel Journal and transfer you to your hotel.

Spend four nights at the Victoria and Alfred Hotel in a Mountain Facing luxury room on a bed and breakfast basis

All 68 bedrooms enjoy unrivalled views of Table Mountain and the working harbour or the vibrant V& A Waterfront. Rooms are ultra large, superbly furnished and comfortably air conditioned. Each has a separate shower, separate w.c, complimentary tea- and coffee-making facilities, trouser press, electronic safe, hairdryer, satellite television, individually controlled air conditioning, fully stocked private bar and king-size bed. Day 2: Cape Town

Today you will be collected for your Private Half Day City & Table Mountain Tour (including city and Table Mountain cableway tickets)

Day 3: Cape Town

Today you will be collected for your Private Full day Cape Point Tour (including entrance fees for Chapman's

Day 4: Cape Town

Today you will be collected for your Private Full day Winelands Tour (including entrance fees for museums, wine tastings and cellar tour)

Day 5: Zambia

You will be transferred to Cape Town Intl Airport in time to check in for your outbound flight (to be booked direct.).

Upon arrival at Victoria Falls International Airport you will be met by our representative and transferred by road to the Zambezi Sun. You will be collected from the hotel by a Bushtracks vehicle and take on a tour of the falls and a sundowner cruise before returning to the hotel.

Spend one night at the Zambezi Sun in a room with en-suite facilities.  Your stay is based on a bed and breakfast basis.

Guided Tour of The Victoria Falls

To find out how the Falls were formed and what local customs and traditions surround them it is worth taking a guided tour. These tours are very informative and end with a visit to the art and crafts centre. Tours may be conducted from the Zambian side of the Zambezi River and last for 1½ hours in Zambia.

The guide arrives in a vehicle and meets the guests at reception of either the Zambezi Sun or the Royal Livingstone Hotel. The guide and guests drive to the Falls, disembark and the tour begins. Tours may be booked in the morning or afternoon. Times are flexible but usually tours begin at 08.00 hours or 15.00 hours.

Tours include National Park fees, transfers, the services of a guide and bottled water.

Children under 12, are ½ price, children under 2 are free.

Day 6: Chobe

Today you will be collected by a Bushtracks vehicle and transferred by road to Chobe Game Lodge.

Spend one overnight at Chobe Game Lodge in a room with private en-suite facilities.  Your stay is based on a full board basis with daytime activities.

Chobe Game Lodge is situated within the Chobe National Park, approximately 100 kilometres (62 miles) due west of Victoria Falls. The elephant population of Chobe, estimated at times to number in excess of 35 000, is considered to be the largest single concentration surviving within the boundaries of a proclaimed National Park.  Other major species such as lion, leopard, cheetah, wild dog, buffalo, sable and roan antelope, red lechwe, the rare puku and Chobe bushbuck are encountered in many parts of the Reserve. Chobe Game Lodge comprises 40 bedrooms and four luxury suites, furnished with comfort in mind. The en suite bedrooms are equipped with a punka fan, air-conditioning, telephone, complimentary mini-bar and tea/coffee-making facilities. Each suite boasts its own private plunge pool and patio. The main Moorish styled lodge with its graceful high arches, quarry tiled floors and barrel vaulted ceilings overlooks the perennial Chobe River and Caprivi floodplain. There is a restaurant, lounge, cocktail bar and safari boutique. Conference facilities are also available. Early morning and afternoon game-drives in open 4-wheel drive vehicles are led by qualified game scouts. River activities include small boat trips to nearby hippo pools and a sundowner cruise on the Mosi-Oa-Tunya riverboat.

Day 7: Johannesburg

On arrival at Johannesburg International Airport you will make your way across from the airport to your hotel, which is situated within walking distance.

Later this afternoon at approx. 16h30, you will be collected from your hotel for a private tour of Johannesburg. You will be dropped off at Moyo Restaurant where you will enjoy dinner for your own account. After dinner you will be collected and transferred back to your hotel.

Day 8: Nairobi

Today you will make your way back to the airport and check in for your outbound flight to be booked direct.

Upon arrival in Nairobi you will be met by our representative  and transferred by road to the Norfolk Hotel.

Spend one overnight in the Norfolk Hotel in a superior room with private en-suite bathroom with bath and shower.  Your stay is based on a bed and breakfast basis.

The Norfolk Hotel is one of Nairobi’s oldest hotels and opened on Christmas Day in 1904. It is situated in the heart of Nairobi, a short distance from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and from Nairobi’s main business and shopping district. The Norfolk comprises 167 rooms in total, made up of standard, deluxe and superior rooms, and suites. All rooms have an en suite bathroom with bath and shower, a mini bar, TV and radio, direct dial telephone and air-conditioning. Day 9: Amboseli

Today you will be collected from the hotel by our representative and transferred by road to Wilson Airport for your 07h30 Airkenya scheduled flight departing for Amboseli. Upon arrival at the airstrip you will be me by a Tortilis vehicle and transferred by road to the lodge.

Spend two nights at Tortilis Camp in a tent with en-suite bathrooms that offer steaming showers and flush toilets.

Your accommodation is based on a full board basis with game viewing activities.

Day 11: Masai Mara

Today you will be transferred by road to the airstrip for your 08h30 Airkenya scheduled flight to Wilson Airport where you connect onto the 10h00 Airkenya scheduled flight departing for the Mara. Upon arrival at the airstrip you will be me by a Kichwa Tembo vehicle and transferred by road to the lodge.

Spend two nights at Bateleur Camp at Kichwa Tembo.  Accommodation is in a tent, lavishly furnished, with en-suite comprising twin hand-basins and glass-walled showers with forest view, and toilet.  Each tent is tended by your personal butler.  Your stay is on a full board basis including scheduled activities and park fees

Activities include game-drives.  A ballooning safari and/or a day trip to Lake Victoria (Mfangano Island) can be arranged at an additional cost.

BATELEUR CAMP AT KICHWA TEMBO

Set in a riverine forest on the edge of the Masai Mara National Park in Kenya, Bateleur Camp at Kichwa Tembo – a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World – is the epitome of private tented luxury. Blessed with an astounding year-round concentration of wildlife, the Park lies directly in the path of what is considered to be the greatest spectacle in the animal kingdom – the annual Great Migration of millions of herbivores from the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. The Camp comprises nine luxurious safari tents overlooking the plains of the Masai Mara, each with private butler service. Day 13: Serengeti

Today you will be transferred by road to the Musaira airstrip for your to your 11h00 Airkenya scheduled flight to Wilson Airport to connect with the 13h00 Regional Air scheduled flight departing for Kilimanjaro International Airport.

You arrive into Kilimanjaro International Airport where our representative will meet you and assist you onto your 14h00 Regional Air scheduled flight to Grumeti Airstrip where you will be met by a Kirawira vehicle and transferred by road to the camp.

Spend two nights in a tent with private en suite facilities. Your stay is based on a full board basis with park fees and scheduled activities.

KIRAWIRA                                                                                SAFARI LODGE

Kirawira is situated on a hilltop that overlooks the vast plains of the Western Serengeti.  The building style and furniture have been brought from the Victorian era and the open-sided architecture of public areas keep the guests constantly in touch with nature. The dining room, lounge and bar area are situated in a large tent with raised wood flooring. Accommodation comprises 25 tents that all have a sweeping view of the Serengeti plains, an en suite bathroom with shower only facilities, and a private balcony. The tents are also equipped with a dressing table and writing table, a wardrobe, shaver outlet and mirror, his and hers bathroom vanities, a small table and chairs on the viewing deck and hammocks on request. Daily game drives are done on the vast grasslands of the Serengeti where a variety of animals roam. Guests visiting Kirawira may even be treated to one of the biggest wildlife spectacles on earth, the annual great migration of millions of wildebeest, zebra and gazelle. The lodge has built it’s own game viewing blinds on the banks of the Grumeti River, from which guests can view the great Grumeti crocodiles and other game that may visit the river for a drink. The lodge also offers walking safaris, bush dining and sundowners. Fishing trips to Lake Victoria can be arranged at an extra charge

Day 15: Ngorongoro

Today you will be transferred to the airstrip for your 10h05 Regional Air scheduled flight to Manyara Airstrip, arriving at approximately 11h20, where you will be met by an Ngorongoro Crater Lodge vehicle and transferred by road (approximately 1 ½ hours) to the lodge.

Spend three nights at Ngorongoro Crater Lodge.  Accommodation is in a luxury double suite with en-suite hand basins, bath, shower and private w.c.  Each suite is tended by a butler. Your stay is on a full board basis including scheduled activities and park fees.

Activities include game drives in the Ngorongoro Crater. Additional activities may be booked directly at the lodge, subject to extra cost and availability of vehicles.  Such activities include excursions to Olduvai Gorge and Shifting Sands and a visit to a Maasai village.

Perched on the edge of the Ngorongoro Crater at the eastern edge of the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater Lodge is without doubt one of the most architecturally spectacular lodges in Africa. The Crater is a World Heritage Site and shelters one of the most beautiful wildlife havens on earth – some of Africa’s last black rhino are protected within its rim and black-maned lions stalk the grasslands. Inspired in design by the Maasai mud-and-stick manyatta, the Lodge comprises three separate and intimate camps, North Camp and South Camp (12 suites each) and Tree Camp (6 suites). The sumptuous suites are steeped in romance reminiscent of a bygone era, with stilted, handcrafted structures adorned in graceful antiques, grand chandeliers and Pan African treasures. All of this, however, remains subordinate to the magnificence of the verdant Crater views through the window of every room. Day 16: Ngorongoro

Today you will be taken on a tour of the Olduvai Gorge in a private vehicle.

Day 18: Arusha

Today you will be transferred to the airstrip for the 11h35 Regional Air scheduled flight departing for Arusha Airport where you will be met by our representative and transferred by road to Arusha.

Spend one overnight in the Arusha Coffee Lodge in a chalet with private en-suite bathroom facilities, including shower, bath, and separate toilets.  Your stay is based on a bed and breakfast basis.

ARUSHA COFFEE LODGE                                                                                              LUXURY LODGE

Arusha Coffee Lodge is situated on the Burka Coffee estate, a working coffee plantation spanning some 2100 acres. The Lodge has 18 chalets, each with en-suite facilities, including shower, bath, and separate toilets. The chalets are built on raised wooden platforms, and have log fireplaces, private lounges and large balconies overlooking Mount Meru, and the plantation. With coffee roasters, and a fermentation plant on the estate, guests have the opportunity to observe the roasting process, taste coffee blends, and purchase fresh roasted beans. The chalets are equipped with a mini bar, mosquito net, overhead fan, and room service is available. The Lodge also has a swimming pool. Optional activities include plantation tours, horse riding, mountain biking, and nature walks on the estate. The Lodge is a mere 2km from Arusha airport, and is thus well placed for guests who need to catch early morning flights.

Day 19: Nairobi

Today you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for the 14h00 Regional Air scheduled flight departing for Wilson Airport.
