Each suite has a different theme and a unique ambience. The exquisite furnishings were sourced from family heirlooms and objets d’art discovered at International Fairs such as Maison & Objet in Paris and Salone Internazionale del Mobile in Milan. Sumptuous fabrics were sourced from the latest fabric trends from St Leger & Viney. Original artwork from Everard Read Gallery and Kurland’s private collection grace the walls.

Kurland Roses

Kurland is famous for its roses, which are, displayed as a myriad of shapes and colours. The historic rose gardens provide our dedicated floral staff with an abundance of fragrant flowers virtually all year round. A new Rose Garden is being created boasting exclusive roses cultivated by the David Austin, who is recognised as a world’s leading rose horticulturalist. The Elegant suites overlook the tranquil pool area, and are conveniently located a few steps from the main homestead.
These spacious 51m² guest suites have an individual décor style; one is in a Greek Mediterranean theme, and the other in pink and white Toile. Both have huge bathrooms, sitting areas, fireplaces and private patios.
Twin double beds are the standard; however the romantic Toile room has the option to be created with a king-sized bed and has a separate dressing room.
The elegant suites are inter-leading, which makes them perfect for groups.
Luxury Rose Garden’s Suites
Located in Kurland’s ‘age old’ rose gardens, the luxury Rose Garden suites of 60m2, offer a classical Kurland experience. The pastel décor, king-sized four-poster bed, huge open plan bathroom, sitting area next to the fireplace, and well-stocked library, assure every comfort in a spacious and peaceful environment. The private terrace overlooks the paddocks. Rose Garden Luxury suites are inter-leading, making them perfect for family groups.
Luxury Paddock Suites
The 4 Luxury Paddock Suites are located in the rambling gardens, close to the main homestead. The suites of 57m2 are individually decorated, have an entrance terrace which overlooks the pool area, a king sized bed and oversized chairs in a cozy sitting area next to the fireplace. The spacious bathrooms are a sanctuary, with a shower, bath and reclining chaise, which overlooks a private courtyard and flowing water feature. Paddock I and II have pastel décor colour schemes, whilst Paddock III has an African theme. Paddock IV with its Victorian Canopy Bed, clawed bath and French antiques is an all time favourite for Honeymoons and romantic getaways. The 2 Superior Paddock Suites are opulently furnished and are exquisite in every respect. These Exclusive suites of 75m2 are located at a distance from the main homestead and pool, which makes them particularly private and peaceful. The bathroom opens onto a private Courtyard, which has a discreet water feature, whilst the main suite flows into the spacious pool terrace. An exclusive second room is located above the main suite and is accessed by an inter-leading door or private entrance. This ‘loft’ room is en suite, has satellite TV and telephone, can sleep 2, 3 or 4 persons, and is ideal for family members or the au pair.
Tucked away from the main hotel, the Superior Rose Garden Honeymoon suites provide a perfect romantic haven.
The separate entrance hall leads into the 72 m2 main suite which is luxuriously furnished and has a king-size bed, fireplace and comfortable seating area. The terrace and bathroom have stunning vistas of the Estate.
The spacious terrace has a private swimming pool and relaxation area with courtesy blinds that afford complete privacy. This is the ideal venue for brunch or a romantic dinner.
Rose Garden III has a lilac & roses décor theme, whilst Rose Garden IV has a four-poster bed in diamonds & roses design. |
