For me this is the ultimate way to do a Safari. When you walk, you are on the animals level. Walking brings you closer in touch, with the natural world. A few companies offer walking Safaris in Botswana. There is a certain level of fitness, durablity ie being in the outdoors, hot sun, insects, that goes along with wanting to do a Walking Safari. A Botswana Walking Safari is usually a 2N/3D, trip, however this is not set in stone. We can create a trip of any length. Uusually one walks for 3 to 5 hours in the morning, and again in th evening. Some camps have remote hid camps in the bush, suh as the Chitabe Walking Trail, image below and on top. It goes without saying that all walking safaris are accompanied by specialized games guides. Depnding on the area, you will sleep in semi permanent camps, or taken back to a base camp. You can also combine a few days walking safari, with some days at a camp doing a driivng Safari. As well, you can also combine a Mokoro Canoe trip, with a walking safari
